Therapy with Renee

Children & Teens

Children and teens don't always have the words to explain what they're experiencing. Sometimes their struggles show up through big emotions, anxiety, shutdowns, perfectionism, friendship difficulties, or challenging behaviors.

I support children and adolescents navigating emotional and behavioral challenges, ADHD and other neurodevelopmental differences, trauma, grief, and family transitions.

Through play, creativity, connection, and developmentally appropriate strategies, we work to better understand what's happening beneath the surface, build confidence, and develop practical tools that fit their needs and strengths.

Adults

Sometimes the patterns that helped us get through difficult experiences no longer serve us in the ways we need.

I work with adults navigating anxiety, trauma, grief, relationship challenges, emotional overwhelm, and significant life transitions.

Our work is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in understanding how past experiences, relationships, and nervous-system responses can influence the present. Together, we build insight, strengthen emotional flexibility, and develop meaningful ways to move forward.

Parenting can feel especially difficult when the strategies you've tried aren't working, or when you're struggling to understand what your child needs.

I help parents and families navigate emotional and behavioral challenges, neurodivergence, communication difficulties, divorce, separation, grief, and changing family dynamics.

Together, we look beyond behavior to understand underlying needs, strengthen connection, establish supportive boundaries, and develop practical strategies that work for your family.

Parent & Family Support

Difficult experiences can continue to influence how we feel, respond, and relate to ourselves and others, even long after those experiences have passed.

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is an evidence-based therapy that can help people process distressing experiences and reduce their ongoing emotional impact.

I incorporate EMDR when clinically appropriate, tailoring the process to each person's developmental needs, readiness, and goals. Our work emphasizes safety, collaboration, and moving at a pace that supports meaningful, sustainable change.

EMDR

Finding the right support starts with a conversation.
